This is our second time staying at the Flutter In. The first time was fantastic....the second time was only better. We knew the openings and hours of all the fabulous local establishments! Not only did we enjoy them again, we again enjoyed the fabulous area within 50 miles...beautiful landscape...fabulous restaurants...awesome brewpubs....outstanding photo ops....the list is too long. We recommend the Flutter In at Edison, WA to be an unforgettable stay!

The Town of Bow Edison is much more than it appears, there are very special reasons for visiting. The reclaimed lumber company holds many treasures for the person building a home, I could have spent a fortune. The homes are quaint and walking the neighborhood is lovely. The Longhorn is a step into the past when bars were bars and lots of fun. The eatery “Tweets” is to die for, best little restaurant I’ve been to in a long time, the service impeccable, the food awesome, the ambiance very inviting we felt completely at home just sitting and drinking our coffees while the rest of the world mosied in and out like the tide of the slough, which gave us much to watch from the window of our accommodations. The Flutter In, is cozy, spacious, clean and very convenient. The proprietors are lovely, kind and friendly. We will be back.

" This has been a great place to spend our eighth anniversary. Our 15 month old has loved watching the birds: so many kinds! We’ve enjoyed exploring the town, and also were grateful for the proximity to so many other interesting adventures. The house was impressively clean, perfectly outfitted, and a delightful respite. Thanks again!"

"I very much enjoyed staying at the Flutter In. Toni is super, the house is clean and cozy. It has everything you could need - a washer/dryer, clean kitchen with everything in it. The best part is the amazing view of the slough behind the house. It was something out of a postcard. It's located right at the corner of town where there is a sweet little breakfast place and a nice bakery and shops."

"We had a great stay, really enjoyed evenings on the deck overlooking the tidal estuary and all the shorebirds.  Had two great bike rides--a loop south to LaConner for lunch then back up to Samish Island and home (72km) and a second loop up past Samish Lake and around to Fairhaven for lunch and down Chuckanut Drive home (61km).  Thanks."

"What a wonderful "home away." The Padilla Bay walk is great, the public beach on Samish Island a good place to beach walk. The bakery next door has great baguettes and cookies. Taylor United for seafood and The Edison Inn oysters for dinner and music. We hope to return. Loved watching the birds out the window and relaxing on a rainy afternoon."
